Wi-Fi Certification
Ensuring Your Network FUNctions as Required

Documenting the current state of a Wi-Fi infrastructure serves both as a record of the system’s status and as a professional foundation for expansions, optimizations, and acceptance testing. We measure your Wi-Fi infrastructure according to defined parameters and standards and provide an overview of its current state.

The Result

In addition to standard compliance, we provide you with an acceptance report for your Wi-Fi that compares your requirements with the measurement results and documents them.

We measure and establish facts

The Wireless.Consulting Wi-Fi certification consists of a logical sequence of standardized measurements. It encompasses the phases of preparation, on-site technical execution (including measurement equipment), evaluation, and follow-up with the creation of a measurement report.

  • Data rates, bandwidth
  • Frequencies/frequency bands/channels to be used
  • Signal level, signal-to-noise ratio (SNR)
  • Transmission standard according to IEEE 802.11a/b/g/n/ac/ax/…
  • Security settings (WPA2, WPA, 802.1x, …)
  • Overlap and roaming zones
  • Integration and calibration of building plans
  • Mapping the building structure and specifying materials
  • Site inspection of installation locations and assessment of local conditions
  • Radio field measurement report
  • Spectral analysis measurement report (potential sources of frequency interference)
  • Evaluation of measurement results
  • Documentation of the current status
  • Presentation of the agreed performance indicators
