LAN Performance Testing
Because good data quality works better

Verifying service quality in a network enables a certified and objective assessment of data transmission quality in segmented networks—even when combining different services with varying QoS requirements on a single medium. We perform EtherSam Ethernet tests according to ITU-T Y.1564 for you based on predefined parameters (QoS), thereby verifying the data transmission quality of your existing LAN and WLAN infrastructures.

The result:

You will receive a test report from us that compares and documents the requirements and results, serving as a basis for the implementation of real-time applications.

We test – you benefit

Wireless Consulting’s quality of service measurement is performed according to the EtherSAM standard. It includes the phases of preparation, evaluation, on-site technical execution (including measurement equipment), and the creation of a test report.

The individual phases of LAN Performance Testing

  • Transmission rates (CIR/EIR)
  • Ratio (upload/download)
  • Bandwidth – Packet loss
  • Latency – Packet size
  • Latency variation (jitter)
  • Development of measurement scenario
  • Creation of measurement topology
  • Creation of measurement matrix
  • Configuration of services in the measuring devices
  • Minimum data rate CIR
  • Minimum data rate CIR up to maximum data rate EIR
  • Overload / Overshoot
  • Load testing of services “simultaneously” with QoS specifications
  • Transmission rates (speed/throughput)
  • Latency (delay/ping)
  • Packet loss
  • Signal quality (for specific cable types)

The interpretation of the measurement results is used to evaluate the recorded network parameters, identify performance bottlenecks, and, if necessary, derive optimization measures.

High-quality service & fair pricing – a connection that WORKS

We bill services and travel expenses based on the actual effort involved – which is documented transparently. The assessment, including initialization and follow-up, is charged as a fixed base fee, while the efforts for the wireless site survey and on-site analysis are billed based on time spent, calculated in man-days per system specialist.
